The Tolland Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at the TOLLAND TOWN HALL on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. concerning a petition from Stephen J. Strinie on property located at 59 Slope Rd. , TOLLAND, MA 01034 requesting a VARIANCE of SETBACK REQUIREMENTS of the Zoning Bylaws of Tolland, MA

Meeting began at 10:00 AM
The chair acknowledged that the posting should have read “meeting” and not “public hearing.”
By a unanimous vote, the Board accepted the appeal of Stephen J Strinie and set the hearing date of June 15, 2016
The appeal was received by the Town Clerk on Feb 8. By agreement of both parties, the 100 day action period was extended past the 100 days. The Board further agreed to do a group site visit following this meeting.

New Business Jerry Manion was given the oath of office by Susan Voudren.
Sue Voudren and Pat Storey led a discussion on the roles and responsibilities of the board.
The board reviewed an application which had been partially submitted over time and which seemed confusing. The chair will check with applicant to ascertain expectations.
